(NewsNation) — Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account after concerning posts about her health, her ex-husband Kevin Federline and her sons.
Spears had made posts where she reflected on her 13-year conservatorship and the effects of her 2018 stay in rehab, which she claimed caused her “brain damage.”
“For 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere,” the singer wrote in a now-deleted Oct. 19 post, according to People Magazine.
“For a person like me who understands the sacredness is god speed… it did more than hurt my body,” Spears wrote. “I do feel the logic and mindfulness in my body as ONE was 100 percent murdered and destroyed… I do feel like my wings were taken away and brain damage happened to me a long time ago 100 percent.”
Britney Spears shares cryptic posts
According to E! News, the “Toxic” singer shared posts on her other social media pages, where she shared a TikTok video of her dancing and drinking from a teacup.
“My kids have known me as Saint Mother Theresa , for 15 years mom was the sister,” she captioned the Oct. 23 video. “I’m the daughter you’re the parent !!! Get it straight teacher … can I come to your class mamma I have my schoolgirl outfit on … let’s go shopping first thing.”
In an Oct. 7 video, Spears addressed why she was wearing a bandage around her wrist and legs, after her sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, went back home to Hawaii.
“Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house. It was horrible,” she captioned the post.
Britney Spears accused Kevin Federline of ‘gaslighting’
In his memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline revealed details about his marriage with the “Oops I Did it Again” singer, accusing her of being a bad mother, claiming that Spears drank while she was pregnant, and drank and did cocaine while she was breastfeeding.
“What shook me the most was realizing how fragile everything was. If she could make a choice like that, breastfeeding our boys while high, what else was she capable of? And how many times had it happened before without me knowing?” Federline writes in the tell-all.
In an Oct. 15 X post, Spears said she’s always wanted to have a life with her sons, calling their relationship complex.
“The constant gaslighting from ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting. I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys,” she wrote. “Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life.”
