(NewsNation) — Katy Perry announced her new single “bandaids” on Tuesday.
The cover for her new song shows a somber-looking Perry with scratches and bruises on her forehead, cheek, lip and nose.
The single’s announcement comes a month before Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour comes to an end, according to Billboard.
There has been no word if the new song is part of an upcoming album or a one-off single.
In September 2024, Perry released “143,” her seventh studio album. The album debuted at No. 6 on Billboard 200. It was accompanied by the single “Woman’s World,” which peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Despite early reports of tickets for the “Lifetimes” tour, the “Roar” singer has reportedly sold 1.1 million tickets for the tour, according to Billboard. Tickets for her “Lifetimes” tour have reportedly not sold well, according to NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
Perry’s “bandaids” will be released on Nov. 6
Katy Perry is dating Justin Trudeau after Orlando Bloom breakup
“Bandaids” comes out after Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went public with their relationship.
The two were photographed in Paris holding hands on Saturday. Perry, celebrating her 41st birthday, attended a cabaret show with Trudeau at the Crazy Horse Paris, according to TMZ.
The “Harleys in Hawaii” singer and actor Orlando Bloom called off their engagement this summer after nine years together.
There may be no love lost between Bloom and Perry, as the “Gran Turismo” actor has been “thirst trapping” women in NYC, according to NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
A source told Froelich, Bloom has been “working out every day at the Equinox in SoHo and… it’s magnificent. He’s just so good-looking and in such good shape. No one can look away.”
