(NewsNation) — Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have broken up after dating for less than one year, according to Us Weekly.
A source told the publication, “Tom and Ana are done for now. It was more Ana’s decision because things were moving fast, and she started to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going.”
The “Mission Impossible” star and de Armas met earlier this year in London, spending time on a yacht in the Mediterranean, catching an Oasis concert, and then holing up at de Armas’ Vermont farmhouse, according to NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
The “Knives Out” actress reportedly still likes Cruise but was the one who “put the brakes” on the relationship because of how fast it was progressing.
“They want to remain friends, but she needed to take a step back,” the insider told Us Weekly.

The breakup comes months after the “Deep Water” actress reportedly sold her New York City apartment in SoHo.
According to Realtor.com, de Armas got $3.5 million for the two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom pad.
Ana de Armas was exploring Scientology
The pair’s relationship was getting serious enough that de Armas was looking into joining Cruise’s religion, Scientology.
“Tom would not be with someone who isn’t a Scientologist, so Ana is looking into it,” a source told Froelich.
The “Jack Reacher” actor, a longtime member of the Church, also recruited his exes — Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes — to the church before he married them. Both women have since divorced Cruise and left the church.
