Netflix Series ‘With Love, Meghan’ Won’t Return for Season 3
Meghan Markle’s foray into lifestyle television with Netflix has reportedly come to an end. According to sources speaking to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex’s show, With Love, Meghan, will not be returning for a third season on the streaming platform.
The series, which debuted as part of the couple’s multi-year deal with Netflix under their Archewell Productions banner, offered viewers a glimpse into Meghan’s home life, featuring cooking, gardening, and crafting segments. The show aimed to present a more personal, relaxed side of the former actress, distinct from the formal royal engagements of her past.
A Shift in Strategy for the Archewell Brand
While the structured series may be concluding, it doesn’t mean Meghan is stepping away from the content space entirely. A source indicated that fans can expect to see similar content, but in a different, more accessible format. “People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the [As Ever] brand, but more bite-sized,” the insider said.
This suggests a strategic pivot towards shorter-form, social media-focused content that aligns with the direct-to-audience approach the Sussexes have often favored. The move could allow for more frequent, less formal updates that connect with followers without the production scale of a full Netflix series.
The Broader Netflix Partnership
The conclusion of With Love, Meghan raises questions about the overall output of Prince Harry and Meghan’s partnership with Netflix. Their deal has so far yielded the docuseries Harry & Meghan, the show Live to Lead, and the now-concluded With Love, Meghan. Prince Harry’s upcoming series on polo and the Invictus Games are still in development.
The couple’s production company, Archewell Productions, continues to develop other projects. The end of one show does not necessarily signal trouble for the overall deal, but rather a natural evolution in their content strategy as they refine their public-facing brand outside the royal institution.
For now, viewers who enjoyed the cozy, domestic aesthetic of With Love, Meghan will have to keep an eye on Meghan’s social channels for their next dose of her lifestyle inspirations.
