(NewsNation) — As millions of Americans head to the polls Tuesday, the Trump administration is deploying election monitors from the Department of Justice to California and New Jersey, where key races are underway. Democrats have argued the move could undermine confidence in the voting process. Josh Findlay, national director of the Election Protection Project, tells “Morning in America” the federal presence is necessary, citing a history of election fraud in New Jersey’s Passaic County — one of the areas where monitors will be stationed.
