(NewsNation) — Blake Lively is seeking $160 million in damages from Justin Baldoni as the legal fight between the two continues to escalate.
In newly unsealed court documents originally filed in July, Lively alleges she’s experienced a huge loss in past and future earnings from acting, producing and business ventures, according to People magazine.
The “Gossip Girl” actress is seeking over $56 million in lost earnings and $71 million in lost business profits tied to her businesses Betty Buzz, Betty Booze and Blake Brown Beauty.
Lively claims she suffered $34 million in harm to her reputation based on negative social media impressions, People reported.
According to court documents, the figures are preliminary and would need to be verified by an expert.

Lively is also requesting punitive damages, attorney fees and damages for emotional distress, saying she has experienced “pain and suffering, physical pain, and humiliation.” She is claiming damages “in the range of $250,000 to $400,000.”
Blake Lively: Justin Baldoni launched a smear campaign
Lively has accused the “This Ends With Us” director of a smear campaign against her.
Lively sued Baldoni and his studio, Wayfarer, in December 2024 following a meeting in which she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, addressed “repeated sexual harassment and other disturbing behavior” by Baldoni and a producer on the movie.
She filed a complaint alleging that the “Jane the Virgin” star and his team ran a “press and digital plan” to destroy her reputation.
Justin Baldoni’s $400M countersuit officially dismissed
U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Liman said Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, his co-plaintiffs, did not file an amended complaint after he tossed out his $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds in June, according to People magazine.
Liman reached out to Lively and Baldoni’s team earlier this month to say that he was entering a final judgment. Lively was the only person who responded, asking the judge to declare the judgment.
